The Maya - Backless Mule

I bought myself a pair of canary yellow mules last year and loved them so much I bought a pair of peach bellini mules for my sister-in-law. They are so so pretty and comfortable and for those of us in our "bring slippers to a dinner party" era, they compliment any outfit! :)

I am a size 8 1/2, but decided to go up

the half size to a 9 in The Maya mule

slipper. Unfortunately, the 9 were too large.

I contacted Mave & Chez requesting

a size 8 in exchange.

They sent me a shipping label and I returned the slippers.

Mere days later, I received my size 8

slippers..... a perfect fit and so luxurious!

Not sure exactly what I was expecting.., more comfort? Better appearance? I simply don’t love them. When I put them on, I feel like my feet look like they belong in a 50’s movie. They just look weird to me and I also hate the sound they make when I walk, so they come off pretty quickly. Big waste of money for me. Just my opinion.

Since I got these I literally think about my Maves on the drive home from work. I love the way they feel and honestly I love the look. I feel so fancy at home!

I have narrow feet and wear orthotics. I was looking for comfortable slippers to wear at home. I find that the slippers are still a bit wide for me. I heard that they came with an extra insole that went under the orthotics to adjust for size and width. That was not in the package I received. Otherwise I am impressed with the quality of the product.

I followed the sizing instructions and sized down as I’m a half size. These slippers are not wide fitting and I needed to return to size up. These slippers next size up are good but they are not wide. They are very firm which is good. I have plantar fasciitis and pretty much wear footwear indoors all the time. These are great for winter but once warm weather comes I won’t be wearing them. It would be nice if a warm weather style was developed without the fluff and maybe open toed.

I am in love with my slippers! They could not be more comfortable, warm without being suffocating and soooooooo cute. Can not recommend enough!

I have a pair of the slippers and I love them! I ordered the mule as a second pair but they fit wide and won’t stay on my feet unfortunately.

These are so chic, cozy and comfortable, I love them. I wear size 7. 5 - 8, depending on the brand. I originally ordered these in 8 but swapped them for the 7's, which fit me better. I highly recommend the Maya's, your feet will thank you!

It took two tries to get the correct size, since these fit very much larger than normal (had to go down two sizes) but worth the effort. The navy suede is high-quality and nicely finished
