The Inspiration
It started with a deal on Dragons' Den. Two years ago, Michele Romanow saw something in Mave & Chez - and she backed it. So when we sat down to design our first-ever Day Slipper, there was only one person we wanted to celebrate it with.
Michele is everything this collection stands for: bold, intentional, and unapologetically powerful. Pairing her with female-founded, Canadian-made Tofino Towel Co. felt like the most natural thing in the world - because this collab was never just about a slipper and a robe. It was about building something that reflects the women who wear them.

Not at all. The Michele is built with a specialized, "barely-there" minimized genuine shearling lining. It is engineered to give you premium plush softness and moisture-wicking comfort without adding heavy bulk, keeping your feet perfectly cool, dry, and comfortable in warmer weather.
How does the Michele day slipper handle half-sizes or foot swelling?
The Michele is built directly over our customizable Dual Insole System. If you are a half-size, experience daily foot swelling, or use custom orthotics, you can easily slip out the secondary layer to instantly create a wider, deeper, and completely tailored fit.
Can I wear the Michele slipper outside to run quick errands?
Yes. The Michele is finished with a low-profile, high-traction rubber outsole. This provides excellent grip and durability for seamless transitions from lounging around the house to stepping onto the patio or running quick neighborhood errands.
