Our goal is to create less but of higher quality, that’s why it took over two years to develop our slippers. It was simple, using high-quality materials and working with industry experts means our slippers will last and result in less waste over time. The relationships we have with our partners have been crucial in developing our slippers. From their recommendations to fabrics to where we manufacture, they are just as invested as we are. 

Every decision we make has irreversible impacts on our environment, so we have partnered with Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls turns unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunities, by keeping them from going to waste and giving them to someone in underprivileged areas of the world. 

In a time where fast fashion and consumption are on the rise, we stand together with other companies who believe in addressing the complex issue of consumerism.  Since day one, we’ve believed that Mave & Chez must play a role in reducing our environmental impact as much as possible. We aren’t perfect and understand there is much to learn, so we will continue to look for ways to minimize our impact and implement additional sustainable practices.

As a team, we went back and forth on how to approach the upcoming Black Friday sales. We’re in a unique position since our slippers are currently being offered for pre-orders. Pre-orders allow us to order exactly what we need, reducing unnecessary waste.
