How to use Kickstarter

Color, style and size selection will happen after the campaign ends. Once the project is fully funded and completed, you will receive a survey to select the color(s) and style(s) of each pair you have pledged for, as well as provide us with your size, exact shipping details, and more.

We will be offering two colors per style:

  • The Audrey in black and navy blue
  • The Maya in black and cheetah

The slippers will retail for $150 USD post-campaign. However, if you pledge the Kickstarter you can receive up to 30% off.

Once you complete your pledge, Kickstarter will send an email that includes all details. You can also find them in your profile, on your ‘Backed Projects’ page. Be sure to always check your spam folder in case confirmation goes there

We offer $10 flat fee shipping to Canada, $15 flat fee to the US, and $20 flat fee to pledges made outside of the US and Canada. Orders outside of the US and Canada may be subject to additional taxes and duties depending on your country’s customs regulations and tax authority.

We will not be offering refunds on any pledges; however we will be offering exchanges should you need to size up or size down. Exchanges are valid within 30 days of receiving your slippers.

The first edition Maves will be available in women’s US sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. We will be adding more sizes very soon! We understand that women’s feet are all so unique and different and that these will not be a one-size-fits-all, but we are working to provide options for as many women as possible.

Pretty true to size. If you are someone who sizes up to accommodate bunions or a wider ball girth, then definitely do what you would normally do. The suede will soften a bit after wear. If you plan to use an orthotic, no need to size up because you will be able to replace our insole with your own and the slipper will accommodate for this.

The first edition of Mave’s will be standard width with a slightly wider toe box for comfort.

We’ve created the insole so that the average foot fits into the heel cup. As an owner of first edition Maves, we want to learn from you what you love (and don’t love) about your pair. Please do provide us with feedback on how your foot sits into the heel cup so we can modify it for the future.

Definitely. Our goal is to have sizes 5, 11, and 12.

Genuine materials like naturally breathable shearling and leathers will keep your Maves fresh and for the most part clean. The insole, the part that touches your bare feet, is not only moisture-wicking but can be removed and washed. We are currently testing the insole on cold gentle cycles and will provide thorough care instructions after the testing process.

We are still developing our insoles. Our goal is to allow customers to be able to machine wash their insoles on a cold gentle cycle. We will provide care instructions once we have finished the testing process. The uppers can be spot cleaned with warm water or brushed with a suede/nubuck brush to eliminate dust or hair.

Your Maves:

  • Purchase the add-on M&C suede brush. Gently brush the uppers to remove dust and dirt from the suede.
  • Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat such as radiators
  • Store them in your M&C tote bag when not in use
  • Do not wear in rain or snow

  • Wash your insoles monthly in a cold gentle cycle in the M&C mesh bag or hand wash
  • Allow to air dry on a flat surface

Absolutely! Men’s and children’s lines are coming in the future. Stay tuned!
